Well, other than the fact that I forgot to post about the Counter Crisis update to my own LJ until a few seconds ago, I mean...

My Mom: "What is that on the computer?"

I go look at her computer. "....It's a webpage."

Mom: "But what is it?!"

Me: "It's a webpage."

Mom: "Well I know that, but it has the firefox logo on it!"

"It's their webpage!"


Yeah, I don't know. My mom has no clue about computers. Oi oi....

XD Too funny. Thankfully, my mother works with computers for a living and doesn't make that mistake. My dad, aunts, uncles, and grandparents on the other hand...

Get all the, "OMG How do I use this? Why is it so slow? How do I install?" Yes, I have been there many a time. Answering them only seems to make it worse.

It really does. No matter how many times I show my mom how to do something she never remembers. It makes me want to cry.

I've tried writing it down for people before, but sometimes they don't even know the terminology (aka. 'menu bar' and 'left click') well enough to go through it. :/ One day they'll get it, hopefully.
