Ah, FF7. Yeah, that's one of those fandoms that do that. Also, I've found that it's the type of fandom where, even when you have been "out" for a while, you will get sucked back in. ^_^
...Oh god. At first I thought it was made out of clay, and then I realized it was not. *curls up in a little ball* Sooooo gross! :P
I was never really in FF7 fandom until a few months ago. I'd tried playing the game years and years ago, and kind of never made it very far so I never really got into the game. I was also the kind of teenager that had to dislike popular things on principle. Needless to say I've grown up since then. I'm currently on my first time ever making it to disc two of the game, and enjoy it greatly. :D
I've got logs of my playthrough commentary.... I've been thinking of posting it on here.
In the past I did read some FF7 fic, though... Mostly Seph/Cloud since it's been my twisted OTP for that fandom for forever. XD
My DC stuff is pretty stalled out lately, due to current lack of interest. I could get it back if I wanted to, but I've been enjoying playing Final Fantasy 7 lately, as well as working on something with Sama.
I feel awful that I haven't worked on my DC fic in awhile and all of you are waiting, but it's nice to just have fun with my writing and this is what's fun for me. I'll get back to DC stuff eventually. :P
Hey, having fun is all that it's about. I'm in DC mostly because I can't seem to get out of it. I don't know if you're following any of my stuff, but when you get back into the fandom I would be honored if you would even just read my story descriptions that have been posted. From the sound of it, it will be a while before you're into it, though, and maybe I'll have something properly posted besides a meager oneshot. As for waiting, I really admire your writing, no matter what it's of. I'm actually a bit behind you in the game, but I am working on making it through FF7 myself, and your writing always cheers me up - even the angst. It's your writing, sporadic and spread out though it is, that urges me to work more on the stories I have. Some of my fics are rather long, and are getting more and more added to them quite frequently. I just don't have the courage to post any of it, really. How do you post such long chapters without problems, anyway?
I adore DC, because I adore mysteries, but right now I'm all in the mood for sword fights, magic, and fantasy settings and FF7 is feeding that need. It's one of my biggest beefs with writing DC fic... I don't really get a ton of time to write sci-fi/fantasy, and epic battles. It saddens me.
I might. I don't really go looking for fic a lot anymore, and DC fic even less because I tend to have really set views on the characters after writing them so much and it sorta distracts from my enjoyment. :{ But I will keep it in mind!

Idk, my writing style is just prone to long chapters, I guess. I have a lot of trouble writing in a brief style, although I work on that by writing shortfic and drabbles... when I write chapterfic it just goes out the window in my attempt to convey the scene in my head. e_e

I first used to worship SephCloud but I turned into ZackCloud and now mostly RenoCloud. If you enjoy ZackCloud, check Yubinbasya's DJs. I love her works and got a few DJ while in Japan. So drool worthy! :)

And I might just have something FFVII related on the stove, who knows? ;}
