I'm going to reveal a secret about a chapterfic I've got in the works among all my other fics (even though I'm not actually writing anything atm), but it really isn't a secret. I've mentioned this fact before, in passing. It was in THIS list.

But, jtlyk, I shrink Hakuba.

Ack, he's adorable. I can just see Ai and him looking at eachother and swearing up and down they're not related while being so uptight, superior, and pouting. Fun mental image.

And I thought Shinichi's ego took a big licking when he shrunk. Haku-cha~n is going to die... of humiliation... via Kaito.

Defitely not. He was so easy to fluster before. His mass may have decreased, but he's such a large target. Kiddie outfits, cuddling, baby talk, or basically the opposite of this situation...

Yeah, Hakuba really never manages to get the upper hand. Everyone wants to mess with him too much. But every once in a long while...

I'll admit I don't have much in the way of Hakuba pics that aren't group shots. I look first for Shinichi and everyone else is incidental. And HakuShin just isn't out there. I've only seen two pics focused on it and one novel doujin. No pretty pictures at all. -pout- I love Shinichi best, but I want more lovin' for all the boys and Hakuba's the rarest.

And then you wrote it... Love. I think it's the rarity value. That and I really want to see Hakuba have a slight mental breakdown when he realizes he's dating Real Life Holmes. I want to see him stumbling through a courtship as well. :) Stealing Kaito's tantei-kun.

Sheesh, just went through my group folder and these were the only ones with some HakuShin tones.

I was actually thinking of Why Not. I figured you had more in plan, but too much on your plate and not enough interest in writing right now to get to them anytime soon. We do like your hints/teases/cruel torture though.

Well, Why Not? is technically a threesome fic. XD So, while it has HakuShin elements I don't really count it as a HakuShin fic. This other fic, though, is pure HakuShin :P

I think that's my three favoite pairings: KaiShin, HakuShin, and KaiHakuShin XD

(That picture of Shinichi and Hakuba sitting together with the book in the last batch is like... everything that pairing is. I love it so.)

Threesome still puts you in the lead of HakuShin fics. And it's pretty. That last pic is the only pure HakuShin I've seen. I've checked the websites that advertise that pairing, but they're almost all Japanese novel (and I'm pathetic enough to plug them into babelfish and see if what it chugs out looks remotely interesting).

Upside is, I have the feeling you're really going to enjoy AnA2. I just skipped to the omake and scanned.

There's no real Hakuba in it. But you have completely freaking postal Kaito playing the part of Hakuba. I enjoyed that a lot. XD

Besides, I just got the first 6 Running Sign and book 3 looks like Hakuba gets some focus.

Hakuba really just doesn't get enough love in the fandom, I swear. He's so freaking awesome. Though I'm not totally sure /why/ I like him so much. Maybe it's the fact that he's a total dork, and you can really see his character growth even though he barely shows up. XD

I do love a good crazy/dark Kaito. Last night Sera managed to talk me into a plunny for her (I seem to have a habit of spoiling her by agreeing to write the fic premises she wants to see really badly...) that has lots of crazy!dark!kaito in it. So that'll be fun. XD

I think I'll be leaving my hiatus soon. My muses are starting to get restless and I've felt that drive to write like hell starting up the last few days. I doubt I'll be able to hold off much longer, soon it'll just kind of burst.
