Just wanted to come complain about how annoying drawing people, and kids in particular, is.

Also, why the devil do I draw like this? When drawing other people its okay... then I try and draw a child and its creepy. D:

I'm no artist so I cannot really comment. But this is a Horseman fic right? So shouldn't the boys have weapons? I seem to recall them having different personalities, so I think they would carry different weapons. But i dunno on how Conan would be able to sneak an actual weapon without getting unwanted attention from adults... My idea of an actual weapon is sharp pointy objects like knives and katanas...I'm still shocked that Conan was able to touch guns without anyone objecting...I seem to recall laws about MINORS not allowed to have guns much less use them...At least there are laws against them in the USA, I don't know the laws in other countries...While Richard aka Kogoro seem to be lax when it comes to Conan's safety. I recall Ran aka Rachel being majorly over-protective of Conan in the manga. Surely the same would apply in the anime? So I'm surprised that the trailer I saw didn't show Ran objecting to Conan using a weapon...

Well, actually, its illegal to have a gun like the ones Conan gets a hold of at all in Japan usually, for citizens at least. According to wikipedia, which i know isn't very reliable, but I'm sort of short on time, "Japan prohibits gun possession by citizens unless sporting or hunting which is limited to shotguns and rifles that are single shot (semi-auto and full auto are restricted to military and police)." So Conan tends to get told off when he touches one, though he managed to get out of too much trouble. He's just special that way. And he managed to get a hold of said gun when Ran was really sick so she doesn't know what she's seeing anyways (Second movie I think). I can't think of any other times Conan got ahold of a gun. But I'm not as far into as the anime as I would like. Only season 14 I think....and I tend to skip the episodes that don't have subs, so there might be more times where he gets a gun.

and as for the drawings, not really an artist, but yeah, I find somethings harder to draw than others. Like guys or kids, so yeah, like, no DC/MK drawings from me....or any other kind....my drawings are really bad anyways....*sigh*.....but you're pretty good, and I think that with more practice, Conan will work out...and with more time, I could actually try to remember what I was about to type, but unfortunately, class calls...

Since karina_silk already answered the gun thing...

Horsemen isn't about them being the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, in fact the only nod toward that is the fact that they use them as codenames.

Pestilence = Kait
War = Heiji
Famine = Hakuba
Death = Conan/Shinichi

The first two stories in the series are mostly about working up to, and taking down the Black Organization. While the second are sort of cleaning up what comes after, and dealing with some of the aftermath as well as tying up loose ends.

If you look at the pictures of Hakuba and Kaito you can see that I've been including the images relating to each Horseman in the picture.

Pestilence/Conquest with the Bow and Arrow. Famin with the balance.

Death carries a scythe, and War carries a sword.

So, they aren't technically the four horsemen, they're just using the names, and pretty ironically.

To quote the trailer Chu did for it: "When the four horsemen ride for the sake of humanity evil is kinda screwed."

Cool, didn't know that about the Horsemen at all...though must admit I never really heard of the Horsemen before this............and even just the thought of Conan anywhere near a scythe makes me giggle...

and yeah, evil is sooo screwed. Chu-chan makes such awesome trailers!!!! *drools over the trailers*

This fic was actually inspired after I watched an amazing murder mystery movie called 'Horsemen' where the victims all have like... emblems relating to the four horsemen left with them, and the murderers use the names of the horsemen for their codenames.

Yeah, my brain just kinda ran happily away on that and now I have a four fic series in progress that's turning into a monster.

Woah...sounds interesting....and scary *hides under covers* amazingly, I like DC/MK, but I hate murder mysteries....Think I may need my brain checked

and I totally understand the plunnies mutating...happens all the time, though I've never actually finished anything cept 1 oneshot, so I highly doubt anyone will ever see how mine mutate....

I am such a mystery nut. I like physically squee when I find a new murder mystery movie to watch, and I obsessively watch shows like Bones and the CSIs and stuff. It's a big part of what attracted me to DC. xD

I've currently got a 10 or so page file of story ideas, most of which are, at the very least, mutli part. D:

I don't know what to do with them all!

I got attracted to MK cause of the pretty magic!! then to DC cause Shin-chan looked so awesome at the clocktower heist....and cause Kai-chan showed up in DC....so then I fell in love with DC as well....

ouch. I have a bunch of fics that are being worked on, more that are either sequels to the ones worked on or new ideas that I haven't started typing yet....and then I have the ones that I know are coming for me and I'm running as fast as possible away from til I have more fics completed...

though I really wish I had something to tell you...but yeah, I haven't found a way to deal with too many story ideas yet....*sigh* maybe one day, I'll actually finish a multi part story and find out what happen then....

I've found the best way to deal with them is just to write them down, along with relevant ideas and leave them to stew while you work on everything else, hence my plunnie list. XD

At current I am writing four stories at once: Sed II, Next chapter of Mayonaka, Ch6 of Pestilence, and Why Not? my little christmas gift to my readers.

lol, though my problem is that my plunnies, while they mutate, they also mutate themselves out of existence...I lose my motivation and the plot very easily so I switch from fandom to fandom and plunnie to plunnie, that I have trouble going back and finishing them....

ouch...sounds difficult...good luck with those....and did you know that they have tie-dye duct tape??? I saw it at Walmart once and then thought of Kai-chan and that one chapter in Sed I....

I know what you mean. Motivation is what used to kill me on chapterfics (the first chapterfic I ever wrote and completed was Christmastide, a KH AkuRoku fic I wrote around this time last year.)

I kind of wrote that to prove to myself that I could stick to a project and complete a fic. Since then I've been sticking with my fics pretty well, except for that one FMA chapterfic I abandoned in favor of throwing myself into this fandom. Whoops. XD

I'd heard about multi-colored duct tape... But Whoa. XD Duct tape in general reminds me of Sed anymore, mostly because Sed Kaito is obssessed with the stuff. It's become a bit of a running joke now, right alongside the whole Princess thing.

hmm...maybe if I try that, I can get myself to actually finish a fic...though at least after the first time, I don't post anything that isn't complete....though the first one was a dud anyways and needed to be reworked cause it was disobeying one of hpff.net's rules...no relationships between students and teachers....which would put ff.net out of business if they had that rule.....cause I mean, look at all the fandoms that have that as part of canon!!!!!

lol...now I'm imagining Shin-chan in a princess costume....and curse you!!! you saying Kai-chan being obsessed with duct tape, is now making me think dirty thoughts!! and i need to go out in public if I want more to eat for lunch than just popcorn!!!! and to do that, I'll need to act normal around people....not imagining things that make me blush!!! lol...jk...but its still making me think dirty thoughts.....

The four of us (Sama, myself, Sera, and Spell) have thoroughly acknowledged those dirty thoughts.

(I've found its easier to finish a fic when I have friends who are interested in the fic and can keep talking to me about it, and therefore keep me interested in both the fandom and my writing.)

lol...though I must admit, the dirty thoughts are very entertaining...

Ah...see, most of the fics I like to write for, its my personal preference and most of my friends don't like the stuff I like...but I'm trying to coax a friend or two into DC/MK...and most importantly KaiShin...though since I suck at any romance, no fluffy fics from me yet! but yeah, I find it hard to talk to my friends about my fics cause most of them no longer like Danny Phantom, Pokemon (to the extent I do), Digimon, and the like...or they like different pairings so its hard to talk to them about that sometimes.....

thanks for the luck...and luck to you and making many more wonderful fics!!! and pics!! *drools over said fics and pics!*
