Shinichi and Kaito blinked at the oven, maybe they did something wrong. Both laughed hesitantly.
"Maybe we should order take-out?" Kaito suggested lightly, not to keen at seeing Hakuba's reaction.
"Yeah, maybe we should also order a new oven and buy a cake as well." Both continued to laugh nervously, well this is the last time they cooked for someone, the current problem will be how to hide the incriminating fingerprints that would be found by the British Detective when he comes back from work.
I'm sorry it took me so long to respond! I got caught up in other things yesterday. XD;;
Anyway, thank you! It's always so nice to get birthday well wishes, and that was adorable. Though I imagine they won't have to worry too much, I'm sure Hakuba's become so accustomed to their insanity he'll just sigh, walk on, and go find a book to read. XDD
