Every time...

that I play through Crisis Core I feel like I uncover more depth and detail to work from. I always catch some new, subtle thing that I can turn over and mull into characterization.

That holds true with almost any media, though, really.

It's part of what I love about being a fan...about writing fic.

Terribly fun just to speculate on characterization, to extrapolate on it. To see where you can lead a character based on some gem you glimpsed in their motives in canon.

Probably why so many of my pieces rest so heavily on characterization, heh.

I'm also terribly bored right now, hence the entry.
